Photography is my passion.

My equipment is my tool, my extended arm and my focus on the subject. I am a staunch system camera user and love the Fuji X system with all its advantages and disadvantages. From time to time I also grab my old analog Canon A1 and enjoy the thoughtful, controlled and very slow photography.

The beautiful things speak to me, entice me to take pictures and process them, digital as well as analog. I started over 40 years ago, analog with a Canon AE1 and in a black and white photo lab, in which I let off steam experimentally, today Photoshop is available for this! What a present! I am an enthusiastic pixel pusher and have been working with Photoshop for over 25 years.
Since I don't own a studio, I work outdoors. Sometimes I can find a nice location, like an old abandoned house. There are so many beautiful places, those that are related to the person or the desired topic, that I find it superfluous to work in an impersonal, interchangeable studio.

Admittedly, I am dependent on the weather and temperature - but there is usually a solution for this too.
